The Milford Schools Foundation and its Board of Directors extend its deepest sympathy to the family of Jerri Curry Lee. Jerri was appointed to the Board in early 2014. During that time many of her efforts were behind the scenes, but indelible. Our hope is Jerri’s family finds comfort in their memories of a kind, energetic, gracious lady.

Everyone has that one favorite teacher — that one person who made a positive impact or who was a role model for success.
The Milford Schools Foundation recognizes this and wants to honor these hard-working and dedicated individuals who touched many lives over the years at Milford. The Foundation recently announced that it is adding an “Outstanding Educator” award to its annual Night of the Stars gala and is currently seeking nominations for the 2015 event.
If you have a favorite Milford teacher, past or present, who you would like to nominate for the Outstanding Educator Award, email their name and why they deserve the award to Foundation President Mary Anne Will at email@example.com.
A Milford High School graduate and University of Cincinnati engineering student is the first recipient of a new scholarship administered by the Milford Schools Foundation.
Matthew Halcomb, a pre-junior at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, was recently awarded a $2,500 Imbus Family Scholarship to continue his studies in civil engineering.
The scholarship was made possible by a large donation to the Foundation from John Imbus and family. Imbus has agreed to donate $25,000 annually to the Milford Schools Foundation, up to $100,000 maximum, for the purpose of funding scholarships for students pursuing a degree in civil engineering. Up to five scholarships will be awarded annually to eligible students enrolled at the University of Cincinnati or Ohio State University. Imbus is a class of 1959 graduate of Milford High School.
