Giving Tuesday November 29, 2022

Milford Schools Foundation will be proudly supporting the Milford Robotics Club from the Milford Exempted Village School District. All funds donated for giving Tuesday will directly support this great organization.

In 2021, because of your kind support we were able to help send seven teams to the VEX Robotics World Championship. Two of the Milford Robotics teams won the club's very first awards at the VEX Robotics World Championship! Team 8823A Ad Astra won the Create Award and Team 8823C Pink Fluffy Unicorns won the Innovate Award. This was the club's most successful year by far and we we're proud to help with their accomplishments. Incredible!!

Milford Robotics Club grew from 9 competitive teams in 2021 to 12 this year. This includes 62 students HS & 8th grade students & 90+ summer camp students taught by five teachers and supported by many active & involved booster parents. Milford Robotics Club strives to be inclusive and actively recruit girls into STEM. 20% of their students this year are female.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help the club continue it's transition from 9+ year old technology to new V5 technology. It takes about $3,000 to fully fund a new team.
