Community Outreach

The Milford Schools Foundation is proud to partner with local organizations to extend our mission of enhancing and enriching the lives of Milford students, and the community at large. Here are just a few projects we were happy to be part of.

  • iSpace
  • Robotics Program
  • Lego League - 3rd grade at Boyd E. Smith Elementary
  • MHS choral group trip participation in a New York workshop.

A Dog's Day

The Milford Schools Foundation was proud to be a top sponsor of "A Dog's Day in August" to raise funds needed for Milford High School's Autism Assistance Service Dog on Aug. 26, 2017.

The event included a 5K owner/dog walk, food, music and games at Miami Meadows Park.

"Please accept my sincere thanks and appreciation for your generous donation to "A Dog's Day" and the MHS Autism Assistance Facility Dog. Without your help we could not afford to attend and pay for the necessary training required to receive our dog. The support of the Milford Foundation of Milford students and teachers in unmatched and something that makes Milford a wonderful community!"

Seipelt Elementary Playground

Not only does the Milford Schools Foundation help students build healthier minds, but we enjoy helping them build healthier bodies as well. That's why the Foundation made a substantial donation to the Seipelt Elementary PTA to help outfit the playground at the new Seipelt Elementary School.

Opening Day Teacher Breakfast

The Milford Schools Foundation is pleased to get our teachers off to a great start by purchasing breakfast for teachers' opening day assembly.
