Selection Criteria
Grant applications will be evaluated based on the following considerations:
- Impact on a large number of students
- Potential to create meaningful and lasting change
- Availability of matching funds, when possible Lack of other available funding sources
- Long-term value and sustainability of the project
- Enhancement of, rather than duplication of, the standard curriculum
- Collaboration between educators, schools, and academic disciplines.
Grant Cycles
Beginning in 2025, the Foundation will host two annual grant cycles.
Grants are open for submission, review and execution during the following dates:
Fall Cycle:
Submission Window: August 15 – September 15
Notification by: September 30
Winter Cycle:
Submission Window: January 15 – February 15
Notification by: March 1
Application Guidelines
Applications may be submitted by individuals or groups within the Milford Exempted Village School District. The criteria listed above serve as a general guide; all proposals will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We encourage thoughtful, innovative, and collaborative proposals that align with our mission to enrich and expand educational opportunities in the Milford community.
