A $5,000 scholarship given in honor and in memory of former Milford superintendent Boyd E. Smith. Criteria: Academic achievement, community service, financial need.

Doug Jauch Memorial Scholarship (Established 2020)
This $5,000 scholarship is given by Carolyn Jauch, in honor of her late husband, Doug Jauch, who was a 1972 graduate of MHS. This scholarship will be awarded to student who will be pursuing a degree in one of the STEM areas.
Criteria: Academic achievement, community service, and financial need.

Fley Family Scholarship (Established 2015)
This $5,000 scholarship is made possible by a posthumous donation from Jo Ann Fley, a 1948 Milford graduate and daughter of former Milford superintendent James H. Fley.
Criteria: Academic achievement, community service, financial need.

House Family Scholarship (Established 2022)

Humphrey Family Scholarship (Established 2021)
This $5,000 scholarship is given by Ed and Janice Humphrey Janice in honor of their family. Ed is a MHS alumnus, Class of 1962 and has been recognized by the Milford Schools Foundation as an “Outstanding Alumni”. The scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a degree in the medical field.
Criteria: Academic achievement, community service, and financial need.

Imbus Family Scholarship (Established 2015)
This $5,000 scholarship is given by John Imbus, MHS alumnus, Class of 1959. The scholarship is awarded to a student planning to pursue a degree in engineering at a college or university in the state of Ohio.

Jean Ackermann Memorial Scholarship (Established 2020)
This $5,000 scholarship is awarded in honor of Jean Ackermann, a 1957 MHS alumna and one of the founders of the Milford Schools Foundation.

Jim Parker Student/Athlete Memorial Scholarship (Established 2022)

Jim Quatman Memorial Scholarship (Established 2021)
This scholarship is given by the Quatman family to honor Jim Quatman, who served as an administrator in the Milford School District. The amount of the scholarship is determined annually and it is given as a “Bonus” to one of the recipients of the year’s other scholarships.

Rick & Suzie Blackburn Music Scholarship (Established 2013)
A $5,000 scholarship given in memory of 1960 MHS grad Rick Blackburn, who became an executive with several major music companies. Criteria: Pursuing a college degree in some field of music, academic achievement, community service, financial need.

Sami Sunshine Scholarship (Established 2021)
Given by Debi and Curt Robinson, MHS alumni, in honor of their daughter Sami. A need based $5,000 scholarship for a Clermont County Special Education student to assist with educational expenses. Scholarship money will be paid to the educational provider.

Will Family Scholarship (Established 2021)
This $5,000 scholarship is given by Mary Anne Will in honor of her family. Mary Anne is a MHS alumna, Class of 1958, and has served as president of the Milford Schools Foundation since 2011.

The Milford Schools Foundation has carefully reviewed and processed the selection of eight Seniors who each received a $5,000.00 college scholarship in 2021. In addition, the Jim Quatman family awarded an additional $2,000 scholarship to one of the 2021 students. The criteria for the scholarships are academic achievement, community service, and financial need. Any Senior who excels in any of these areas is encouraged to apply for 2022.
The 2021 scholarship recipients are a diverse group.
The student ranked 88th in the class is studying nursing at the University of South Florida.
The student ranked 5th in the class is studying physics and pre-med at The Ohio State University.
The student ranked 12th in the class is studying health sciences/nutrition at the University of Florida.
The student ranked 22nd in the class is studying psychology at The Ohio State University.
The student ranked 143rd in the class is studying pre-law/criminal justice at the University of Kentucky.
The student ranked 215th is studying mechanical engineering at the University of Cincinnati.
The student ranked 37th in the class is studying biomedical engineering at Washington University in St. Louis.
